London Art+Climate Week is a first-of-its-kind programme developed in partnership with Gallery Climate Coalition and delivered across London in alignment with COP30.
Co-founded by Nathalie Brough-Aparicio and Lula Rappoport, the initiative convened over 30 leading cultural institutions - including Tate, Whitechapel Gallery and Barbican Centre - to embed climate discourse within mainstream cultural programming.
Over five days, the programme presented exhibitions, expert panels, artist talks, workshops and public activations across the city. Digital trails and curated routes on the gowithYamo platform enabled audiences to discover and engage with events easily, reducing barriers to participation.
The inaugural edition generated an estimated 2.8 million views in earned media and positioned London’s arts sector as a visible contributor to global climate conversations at a critical policy moment.
London Art+Climate Week was designed not as a symbolic gesture, but as a practical demonstration of sector-wide collaboration - showing how cultural institutions can work collectively to address environmental responsibility while remaining accessible to diverse audiences.
